Everybodys lookin forward to the weekend

And so far, my weekend has been fun-filled! Here are some of the pictures I have taken throughout this magnificent weekend so far!

 

I bought these cute campbells mugs at a vintage store near my house. Dinah and I instantly fell in love with them.. and they were also one dollar each. WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE!!

 Also, Dinah and I decided to take Hallie out for a walk because we haven't taken the poor thing out in a while. We decided to go on a trail near my house. Unfortunately, we didn't get to finish it, but we vowed we would one day!

 You could see LA from here! :]

This weekend, I was actually able to take a picture of one of these bad boys! They are turkey vultures (scary) and they usually hang around a eucalyptus tree down the street from my house. They actually came out and perched themselves on the electric poles across the street from my house. The reason why this one was spreading out it's wings out is because it wanted to warm up from the sun. CLEVER.

Today

I started off going to dawn prayer meeting which was a blessing, but not gonna lie.. it's always hard to wake up that early! But I praise God for this mornings prayer meeting. It was great!

A little later... we actually practiced our AMAZING performance.. which I will refrain from explaining cause it hasn't been done yet, and it's a surprise:]

Lastly, we celebrated Aubrey Jane's first birthday! I can't believe it has been one whole year! Honestly... I LOVE THIS KID TO PIECES!

AND! she was adorable in her traditional korean outfit. 

She wore it to perform this korean tradition, where the child (on their first birthday) has items laid out before them (each item representing a type of characteristic) and whatever item the child chooses, that means they're going to attain that characteristic. (shows picture below)

The items laid out and their meaning:

- Basketball: Athletic

- Money: Wealthy

- circular braided cloth: Health/long-life

-Mic: Entertainer

- Pencil: Intelligence

AND WHAT DOES SHE PICK??

::Drumroll::

The braided cloth! Which means good health and long-life! YAY! 

I love Aubrey Jane.
