Hooray!! The antique fair came around again!! My favorite little street fair!!
This fair can be a total tease though if you don't have a lot of money, but nevertheless, I always have fun just walking around and admiring stuff:]
I don't know what it is about old things... but it really intrigues me and entices me to stare and want to buy. What I love about this fair is that you can bargain for all types of things whether it be jewelry, clothing, old furniture, old advertising signs, and even old dolls/toys and cameras.
Its like a treasure hunt ! How exciting!
Hallie and her new friend! hahah!
Old Lunch boxes! and I wanted to buy the old model plane in the back, but someone snatched it by the time I came back to look for it! :[ it's ok!
old brooches, watches, necklaces and rings!
So these are the rings I ended up buying... THAT.. and 5 old random black and white photos that I got for a dollar. I loooooove my rings. It was my goal to find some cute rings to buy. The lady I bought this from let me have them for 4 for $24. (she said about $10 each for them and the blue for $5 but my mom helped me haggle. Thanks momma. hahah). I love these rings because of the unique stones and weird designs. From left to right on the top pic the stones are: moonstone which turns blue in the sun, turquiose, black onyx, and coral. They are all set in sterling silver. The lady believes these were indian made, but that can always be a speculation! All in all, I LOVE my purchase, and I can't wait to wear them. AND I CAN'T WAIT TO GO TO THE NEXT ANTIQUE FAIR!:]
