Giving Thanks.

Happy Thanksgiving!
In light of thanksgiving, I’d like to share with all of you the five main things I am thankful for.
I am thankful for:
  1.   Family
  2.   Friends
  3. Nieman
  4. My dogs
  5. God
I know these are typical and cliché things to be thankful for, but I will explain why:]

#1
Family
My family. A group of people who I know will have my back no matter the circumstances. A group of people that is somewhat... dysfunctional and crazy, but I continue to have a GREAT love for. Of course, a family will have their own shares of trials and misunderstandings. My family has been through a lot of that this past year with my dad being sick and everything that came along with that. But praise God for his goodness! I know that some people have broken families and broken relationships with blood relatives so I should be thankful for my family! I am truly thankful that I have a family whom I love and that loves me in return.

Friends

God has truly shown me true friendship this past year. This year has been the craziest year for me, in that, I have experienced the greatest trials in my personal life. God has blessed me so much.. and I can't say that enough! He has blessed me with the greatest friends ever. Through my hard times, God revealed to me the hearts of my friends and their love for me. It was the greatest gift I could ever receive from them. In times where my obstacles have overwhelmed me, my friends helped lighten the load of my burdens. For that, I am thankful beyond words!

Nieman
"HE STOLE MY COUS-COUS!"
By cous cous, I mean heart. LAME JOKE! hahahahah!
ANYWHOO...
What can I say about this guy? Honestly, there's no doubt that he's been through it all with me the past few years. Literally. I can love him and hate him all at the same time. I can laugh for hours with him and other times.. I wanna punch his face in. I guess that's why he's my best friend! hahaha. We've had a rough year as friends, but I know in the end, I am thankful to have him in my life. I care a lot about him!  He listens to my problems and worries, celebrates with me when I am ecstatic about something, and dances with me when no one else is. There will always be things that we could work on, but that gives us room to grow! That's my best friend!

My DAWGS!
I know I know... Random.. but I LOVE my dogs! They're crazy and cute. They're apart of my family and I can't help but love these two weirdos. WHO ISN'T THANKFUL FOR THEIR PETS!?

God
I thank God. Without him, I wouldn't have all these things that I am thankful for. I thank him for giving me a beautiful life filled with beautiful people and beautiful things. He has filled my life with joy that I don't even deserve. He sent his son to save me. Man.... I should be more grateful and not take one day out of the year to truly acknowledge all my blessings. I am grateful. I am blessed.
I am loved.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Thankful for Friends

Had a thanksgiving party with friends from church. First time we ever did this.
The food + company = good times.
gotta say. I love these guys.
This picture is actually from my cousin's 365 album, unfortunately I wasn't able to take a picture of the whole group!

Looks kinda disgusting, but I can assure you, the food was good! : Chicken, Mashed potatoes, baked mac, salmon, and beef steak! MM-MMM!

never leave Grace with the cider. HAHA.

This is before the cookies got burned. hahaha. It's ok RJ!

Thank God for friends.

inspired by.... KITTENS!

I haven't been keeping up with this thing.. seems like the days are going by so fast and I can't catch up.
Guess that's what happens when you're busy. Well.. I'll post up some old pictures that I wasn't able to post during the past couple of weeks.
Dinah and I actually had the opportunity to cat sit for Ate Aprille and Kuya Bryan while they were at Hawaii a couple weeks ago. Never had a cat before and never really was a fan of the animal. (I'm more of a doggy person) But I gotta say.. Ricecake ( the cat) and I  really bonded.
I miss that cat.

Night Life in Uptown Whittier

Dinah and I were bored last Wednesday night and decided to take a stroll at uptown whittier to take pictures and walk Hallie. No one was home so we had to do something!! Random but fun. And I'm glad my sister Dinah supports my want to get better at my photography.

My favorite thing to take a picture of that night was the theater and its old school feel.
To think that everything used to be seen in black and white.
Now we live in a world that's technicolored.
